Employer Sponsored Visas
Employer Sponsored visas are offered in a range of subclasses with varying requirements. There are various employer sponsored visas in this category some of which require Standard business sponsorship or Temporary activities sponsorship. This is usually valid for 5 years and can be used to nominate other staff in the business.
All these visas have a set list of occupations that are eligible for the appropriate visa. The Core Skilled occupations list eligible for the 482 and 186 visas can be found on the Home Affairs legislative instrument for the relevant visa program. Some occupations also have caveats. Wage threshold restrictions apply but the Market wage must be paid other than the Training visa where the award wage is acceptable.
